About Broken Arrow Grooming
Developed in the shop.
Every Broken Arrow product is developed and tested by barbers who cut hair every day at Broken Arrow Barbershop in Orem, Utah. We only sell what we’d use on our own clients.
01 / The shop
It started with haircuts.
Bryton opened Broken Arrow in Payson in 2022 as a premium place for men to get their hair cut. The shop grew on word of mouth and more than 240 Google reviews before moving to a bigger space in Orem.
Bryton is a licensed barber instructor and taught at Paul Mitchell The School Provo, where he trained Connor and Elise before they joined the shop. Today Broken Arrow has been voted Best Barbershop in Utah Valley by Daily Herald readers in 2023, 2024 and 2026.

Nothing on the shelf was good enough.
Between us, we’ve used and sold a lot of different product lines. We knew what we liked, and what we wished was better. We wanted to give clients something to take home, but nothing we found lived up to our standards for both how it performed and how it looked.
For Bryton, making products wasn’t new. He started making beard oils and other grooming products in 2022, the same year the shop opened. Broken Arrow Grooming grew from that early work and everything our team has learned behind the chair since.
We also noticed a pattern. A lot of brands have one great product, usually a clay or a pomade, and the rest of the line is an afterthought. The clay is good, but the sea salt spray isn’t. We couldn’t find a complete line where every product was one we’d reach for. So we’re building one: clay, cream, sea salt spray, shampoo, conditioner and aftershave, each held to the same standard.
03 / What we hold them to
Products we’d be proud to use in the shop.
01
Works on real hair
Tested on clients in the chair: thick, fine, curly, thinning and everything in between.
02
Easy at home
If it only works when a barber does it, it doesn’t make the cut. We’ll show you how to use it at your next appointment.
03
Looks right on the shelf
Simple, well-made packaging that looks as good in your bathroom as it does in the shop.
