Read your hair
Type, density, cowlicks, where it grows thin and where it grows heavy. We look at it dry, wet and the way you normally wear it.

Our flagship, white-glove appointment. Ninety minutes, one-on-one with Bryton.
Made for guys who have never liked their hair, or are dealing with thinning hair. Bryton is a licensed barber instructor who teaches other barbers how to cut. He works out the haircut that suits your face, hair and routine, then finishes with a face shave or beard trim. You leave with a haircut you'll keep for years.
01 / How it works
We start by figuring out your hair: its type, density, growth patterns, and what it actually wants to do.
02 / How we decide
It isn’t luck, and most of them weren’t born with better hair than you. They have someone who studies their face, their hair and how they dress, and gives them the haircut that works for them instead of the one that’s popular. The Full Reset gives you the same approach.
Bryton looks at three things before he picks up a pair of scissors.
Face shape
A haircut changes how your face reads. Height on top can lengthen a face; width at the sides can soften a long one. The goal is balance, so people notice you, not your haircut.
Fits most styles. We choose based on your hair and routine, not your face.
Height and structure on top with tighter sides add length and definition.
A strong jaw works with clean, structured cuts. Some texture on top softens it if you want.
Avoid too much height. Keep some width at the sides, and a fringe can shorten the face.
Wider forehead, narrower chin. Medium length and some fullness lower down help balance it.
Wide cheekbones. Fullness at the forehead and chin, and not cutting the sides too tight.
Hair type
Two people can show the same photo and need completely different haircuts. Your hair decides what’s possible and how it will grow out.
Shows every line. Needs precise blending and enough weight to sit flat where you want it.
Can look great or messy depending on where weight is left. We cut to bring the wave out, not fight it.
Cut with curl shrinkage in mind, often shaped dry, so it isn’t too short once it springs up.
Needs weight taken out in the right places, or it puffs out at the sides as it grows.
Shorter lengths, texture and the right part can make it look fuller and hide the scalp.
We work around them instead of cutting them too short, which is what makes hair stick up.
Style and routine
A haircut is part of how you look all day, every day. It should match your clothes, your job and how long you’ll actually spend on it in the morning.
Clean, structured shapes that hold up from the morning meeting to the evening.
More texture and movement. Tapers, fringes and crops that look intentional with a T-shirt.
Low maintenance and practical. Looks good under a hat and after a long day.
Side parts, slick backs and longer scissor cuts with a polished finish.
A cut that air-dries into shape with one product, or none.
Longer, more versatile cuts that can be worn a few different ways.
The goal
A haircut that's cut correctly for your face, hair type and growth patterns shouldn't need product to look good. It falls into place on its own, and your morning comes down to a towel dry, a comb or your fingers, and out the door. Product becomes optional, something you use when you want more hold or shine, not something you need to fix the haircut.
That's the standard for the Full Reset, and it's why it's one of Utah's best haircuts.
03 / The 90 minutes
Type, density, cowlicks, where it grows thin and where it grows heavy. We look at it dry, wet and the way you normally wear it.
We talk through what you've tried, what you hated about it, your face shape and how much time you'll actually spend on it in the morning.
No rushing to the next appointment. Scissors, clippers or both, with time to check the shape as it dries and adjust.
You do it yourself in the chair while Bryton walks you through it: how much product, which product and how to dry it. You leave knowing how to recreate it.
04 / Who it's for
05 / Thinning hair
Thinning hair needs a different approach: where to keep weight, where to take it off and how short to go so the scalp doesn't show through. Bryton also does all of the shop's hair replacement work, so if a haircut alone won't get you where you want to be, he'll tell you honestly and walk you through the options.

Our flagship, white-glove experience with Bryton. A haircut plus a face shave or beard trim, for when you've never liked your hair, it's thinning, or you're starting over.
Book the Full Reset →08 / What's included
Most shops charge for the wash and every add-on separately. At Broken Arrow it's all part of the appointment.
09 / Before you come in
It shows us what you do every day and what isn't working.
Haircuts you like, and pictures of your own past cuts you liked or hated. Both are useful.
Or just know their names. We'll tell you what to keep and what to stop using.
Arrive on time. There's a 5-minute grace period, and late arrivals may not be taken.
10 / After the Full Reset
The Full Reset is usually a one-time appointment. Once the haircut is worked out, upkeep is simple: book a Signature Haircut for longer or scissor cuts, or a Classic Haircut for shorter styles, with Bryton or any barber at the shop. The plan for your hair stays on file, so whoever cuts it next knows where it's going.

Most of the time goes into understanding your hair and deciding on the right haircut before cutting, then teaching you to style it. That's the part a normal 30-minute appointment skips.
Yes. It's one of the main reasons people book it. The right length, weight and shape can make thinning hair look fuller and less obvious. If a haircut isn't enough, Bryton can talk you through non-surgical hair replacement.
No. The Full Reset is only with Bryton. For extra time with Connor or Elise, book a Signature Haircut.
Yes. Scissor cuts, flows, mullets, curtains and other longer styles are a big part of what we do, alongside fades and tapers.
