A lot of people come in the day of the wedding or the day before for a haircut. We don’t recommend it, especially if you’ve never been to us before.
Your wedding photos will be around for the rest of your life. The haircut in them shouldn’t be a first try with a new barber two days before.
Here’s how to plan it so you walk into the wedding with a cut you already know you love.
Short answer
Book your first haircut a month or more before the wedding so you can find a barber you like and a haircut you love. Then book a final Signature Haircut about 3–7 days before the wedding so it has time to settle. Broken Arrow Barbershop is at 375 E 800 S, Suite 12, Orem.
01
Why not the day before
If it’s your first time with a barber, neither of you knows how your hair behaves, how it grows or how it looks a few days after a cut. If something isn’t quite right, there’s no time to fix it.
A fresh cut also needs a few days to settle. Lines soften and the shape relaxes into place.
Your wedding day shouldn’t be the first time you see this haircut.
02
A month before, or longer
Come in at least a month before the wedding. Find a barber you like, try the style you’re thinking about, and see how it grows out over the next few weeks.
If you want to change it, you have time. If you love it, you know exactly what to ask for next time.

Book the Signature Haircut for the pre-wedding cut
We recommend the Signature Haircut for your pre-wedding appointments. You get extra time to talk through the look, detail work so it grows out clean, and guidance on styling it yourself on the day.
It includes a hair wash, scalp scrub, menthol scalp treatment, neck shave and hot towel.
05
Beards
If you have a beard, book the Haircut + Beard for your final appointment so your beard, hairline and cut all match in the photos.
06
Groomsmen and family
Book early. Weekends before weddings fill up fast, and it’s much easier to fit a group in with a few weeks’ notice.

Can I get my haircut the day of the wedding?
